Installation Instructions - Before you begin The drawings on the next pages should make installing your tanning bed easy, but before you begin you should first make sure you have all the parts necessary to assemble the tanning bed. Refer to the proper drawing for a list of parts. You should first review this entire document to become familiar with the assembly process, and keep this document handy while you are actually assembling the unit. You will need two able-bodied persons to assemble this tanning bed. You will first be using the box with the BENCH assembly. This is usually the top box on the pallet, and is usually marked with the word "BENCH" or just the letter "B" on the box. Inside the box with the BENCH you will find the pedestal leg base and other hardware necessary to assemble your tanning bed. Take the bench into the area where you want to install the tanning bed, gently place it upside down near the final destination, and follow the instruction diagrams on the following pages. Once you have assembled the bench and leg assembly, you will then bring in the CANOPY unit, usually marked "CANOPY" or with the letter "C" on the box. Caution! To prevent damage to the tanning unit, you need to be careful how you handle it. If you are installing the system on a hard floor, such as concrete or wood, you need to use a blanket or other large soft cloth to allow the tanning bed to rest on when it is upside down. This will prevent scratching or denting the metal surface. If you need to turn the canopy over from "upside down" to "right side up", take caution NOT to roll the unit against the timer and/or handle of the tanning bed or you risk damaging the unit. Take care when rotating either half of the bed to NOT roll the unit onto its cords or other connections. It should be lifted up, rotated, then set back down to prevent damage.
If you do not have a printed copy of this entire document, you may want to at least print the next few pages out to make installing easier. |
